Summer Camp

There are two separate summer camps being offered this year by Urbana High School's Robotics Team, the CryptoHawks. Students will have the opportunity to enhance their STEM related skills by building robots to compete. They will be working with student members from the robotics team
Arduino
1pm-4pm
Students will be using the microcontroller Arduino to learn the basics of programming and robotics. Students will be building, wiring, and programming an Arduino robot to perform various tasks. Each student will be receiving an Arduino and accessories required to complete the camp. Intended for rising grades 7-9. Cost is $150 per student.
Lego Mindstorm
9am-12pm
Students will be using LEGO Mindstorms to learn the basics of programming and robotics. Students will be building and programming LEGO robots to compete in various events. Students will keep various LEGO's used during the week. Intended for rising grades 4-6. Cost is $150 per student.
